Worldwide Awards 2009 Aftermath…

WOW.. no words for it really… what an amazing night. The whole event was brilliant and I was kind of not quite there for a lot of it due to how overwhelmed I felt. The music, crowd and atmosphere were unforgettable. I ended up playing after Jazzanova – so no pressure there then! My set seemed to go down well and the biggest cheers were for Floating Points amazing Like This and also my remix of the Joubert Singers – got to say a massive thanks to the crowd – great energy throughout the night. The awards were ace too – great to see Marlena Shaw getting her lifetime achievement gong. I enjoyed all the acts – especially Mama Milk – beautiful music!

The highlights will be broadcast on Radio 1 this Wednesday 28th – so listen in if you can – there will be some ace music played – the show will be available on demand for a week too.
