Massive Party In Nottingham Tonight!
I posted this info up last week about a fantastic party that I am playing at tonight in Nottingham. Can’t wait. It’s gonna be badass!
I have been to to the venue to have a look round and it’s proper right mega.
There’s so many different zones and cubby holes – some bits look like you’re in someones house – with drapes and beanbags scattered everywhere – and other bits look like some kind of minimal Berlin art warehouse existentialist party zone – so something for everyone.
Am excited about the live art room – and the amount of projectors on the night. It’s gonna be immense!
So here’s the info again for all you stragglers. Although the tickets have pretty much sold out, you can possibly get in on the door if you get down early enough…
MASSIVE PARTY ALERT
The Love Unlimited is a great blog site run by Tim and Dom which focuses on proto dance music and disco amongst other things. They are throwing the mother of all parties here in my home town of NOTTINGHAM TONIGHT.
WHERE?
The party is a fully licensed all night affair in the disused 4 floor Nash Interiors shop on Goosegate, Hockley, which is slap bang in the centre of Nottingham. The building is being specially dressed for the event and visuals will be supplied by top Nottingham Collective VENT MEDIA who regularly VJ around the globe.
ENTERTAINMENT?
The MAIN ROOM music will be provided by LUKE UNABOMBER (who should need no introduction to most of you), KELVIN ‘SOULMEKANIK’ ANDREWS and RED RACK’EM (yes that’s me). COYOTE (Is It Balearic Records) will be providing a sun drenched soundtrack in the BALEARIC room. AND there will be a chunky UNDERGROUND HOUSE basement hosted by the mighty SMOKESCREEN Collective. There will also be a whole host of local DJ talent too including Notts legends RICK DONOHUE and PAUL WAIN (original Venus resident) plus the LOVEUNLIMITED SOUNDSYSTEM.
As well as live visuals, 2 well stocked bars and a fully dressed venue there will also be LIVE ARTWORK created on site by Nottingham legend SMALLKID and friends.
CAN I STILL GET IN?
Well the tickets have sold out but there’s a little bit of extra capacity in the venue, so if you fancy coming along and trying your luck on the night – you might get in..
