As it’s the run up to Christmas and I have had guests on all year, I had planned to do the whole night on my own.

BUT…. someone who doesn’t bother to DJ very often but who has a fantastic collection and releases on labels like Bear Funk and Rong/DFA has expressed an interest in playing on the night with me. I couldn’t say no really could I?

Geoff Research – Bear Funk/Rong/DFA/Research/Tek San…

Geoff Serle is the mastermind behind Research who were a hot post punk, industrial jazz funk band in the early 80’s playing with heavy hitters such as Material and Swans. He also records as Tek San, Radius and Sonicphonics. So expect a healthy dose of punk funk, wrong disco and crackhead electro on the night. He’s currently remixing the likes of Liquid Liquid so we should get to hear some brand new heat as well.
